Lehr Statue
The statue of Henry Solomon Lehr, the university’s founder and first president, was dedicated at Homecoming October 6, 2007. The work was executed by Tad R. McKillop of Ann Arbor Michigan. Mrs. Toby Baker, Prof. John P. Lomax, Prof. Brit Rowe and Dr. William Robinson served as the selection committee.
James Lehr Kennedy, great grandson of President Lehr attended.
