OhioLINK is a consortium of 120 academic libraries in Ohio. Members cooperatively purchase electronic resources such as databases and share physical resources such as books and DVDs. This means that if you need a book or other item that Heterick does not have but that another OhioLINK member library does have, you can request the book through OhioLINK and it will be sent to ONU for you to use.
To place a request:
If the item you are requesting has multiple parts (for example, multiple volumes), after you hit "Submit" you will see a screen where you can select the specific part you want. If you want multiple parts of the item, you will need to submit multiple requests.
When your request arrives at Heterick you will receive an email letting you know that your item is available to pick up.
SearchOhio is a consortium of public libraries in Ohio that share their physical resources with each other and with the OhioLINK libraries. SearchOhio is a good source for new and popular books and movies. To use SearchOhio, click on the "SearchOhio" icon at the top of the OhioLINK catalog, or click on the direct link to the SearchOhio catalog below. To request items, follow the same steps as for OhioLINK.
