Dr. Anne Whitesell, assistant professor of political science at Ohio Northern, will discuss the theory of intersectionality. Originally developed by academic Kimberlé Crenshaw, intersectionality is the recognition that each of us has multiple, interlocking dimensions of our identity. Although the term has exploded into the mainstream in recent years, it is frequently misunderstood.

Dr. Karen Kier, professor of clinical pharmacy at Ohio Northern, will present on the dangers of vaping.

The October 2019 Ada Chats will be held at 5:30pm on Thursday, October 10th, at the Ada Public Library.
