Dr. Ray Person will review conversation analysis and the comparative study of oral traditions and show how these two approaches can help in understanding text-critical "variants" in both Homeric epic and the Bible.
Dr. Scott Gerber has published three legal thrillers and has now completed his fourth. He will discuss why and how he writes fiction, using his newest book, The Art of the Law, as an example.
