Overview
During the summer of 2020, members of the ONU Football program came together as a group in response to the recent racial violence that was occurring throughout our nation. As a part of their response, they committed themselves to taking anti-racist actions, which included a team initiated Listen & Learn program, involving interviews with former players and coaches of diverse backgrounds. Video recordings of the interviews are presented below.
Will Bodden - ONU Class of 2016
2016 ONU graduate Will Bodden discusses personal experiences with racism, as well his perspective on police discrimination and violence towards Black Americans.
Taariq Florence - ONU Class of 2016

A 2008 graduate of ONU, Glenn Stanton shares his perspective on growing up predominately white areas as an individual with a multi-racial background. Additionally, he talks about dealing with racist microaggressions, and how racism can affect policing and Black experiences.
