OhioLINK is a group of college and university libraries throughout Ohio that share physical resources, like print books and DVDs.
For help requesting items through OhioLINK, use the tutorial linked below. It will walk you through the process of requesting items.
Once your item arrives at Heterick, you will receive an email letting you know that the item is available for pickup.
If an item you need is not available through OhioLINK, there are two strategies you can use to find it.
1. Check SearchOhio. This is a group of public libraries in Ohio that share their physical resources with each other and with the OhioLINK libraries. It is a good source for new and popular books and movies. If you discover your item at a SearchOhio library, you can request it using the same process you use to request items through OhioLINK. Click the link below to go to the SearchOhio catalog.
2. Use Interlibrary Loan. If your item is not available through OhioLINK or SearchOhio, you can submit an interlibrary loan request for it. This means that Heterick will submit a request to other libraries outside of Ohio for the item on your behalf. Note that obtaining items through interlibrary loan can take 1-1.5 weeks for articles and 2-3 weeks for physical items. Click the link below to submit an interlibrary loan request.
