CINAHL Search Filters and Limiters
CINAHL includes some extremely useful filters located under the search box, such as author is a nurse, peer reviewed, research article, evidence based practice, and humans (indicates that the research is on humans and not animals).
After you start your search you can use additional filters using the options under the search box. Clicking "All Filters" brings up options to search by a custom time frame and different types of articles. You can also use "All Time" to switch to the last five years and select article types by clicking "Source Type."
