Tips for Using Search to Find Empirical Articles

1. Enter your search terms, then click search:


2. Limit your search to Scholarly (peer-reviewed) journals to remove popular sources.


3. Evaluate results to determine if they are empirical. If you have a large number of results, try reducing the number by:

  • Adding in an additional search term like study, experiment, trial, etc.

  • Narrowing the date range
